Forage crops commercialized by Artemisa are alfalfa (or lucerne) and straw.

Alfalfa comes from the south-central Asia, specifically in ancient Persia, being introduced in Greece around the year 490 BC during the Persian invasion, being used as fodder for cattle and Army horses, purpose still maintained to this day.

The straw is obtained by dehydrating some types of cereal, method that preserves the nutritional value and allows storage without deterioration.
